Chief Financial Officer, AIG UK

Naval joined AIG in February 2023 as UK CFO and is a Director of AIG UK.

He has over 20 years insurance experience and joined AIG from the Phoenix Group where, most recently, he served as the CFO for Europe and as a Board member of Standard Life International. He was previously Head of Corporate Finance for the Group and led the delivery of various transactions including the public market listing of Phoenix, equity and debt issuances and numerous M&A transactions in the life insurance sector.

Naval has many years of corporate finance experience in the insurance sector and previously spent 9 years in investment banking at ABN AMRO where he advised insurance companies on M&A, capital raising and strategy. He started his career at PWC where he trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Naval graduated from Aston Business School with a BSc in Finance and Accounting and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
