Elle Ayton Wins Young Achiever of the Year

Elle Ayton works as an Underwriter within our Financial Lines, Directors & Officers (D&O) Insurance team and has been named Young Achiever of the Year at the British Insurance Awards 2025, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Elle initially joined AIG as part of the UK Early Careers Programme for students and graduates designed to jumpstart careers, grow potential and offer insight into the insurance industry. Her dedication and positive attitude during her internship in the Summer of 2021, led to being offered a position in AIG’s graduate underwriting program in 2022. Before being promoted to D&O underwriter in August 2024.

Elle’s active development of her technical skillset enabled her to underwrite and support complex multinational clients and improve cross-selling initiatives within AIG. Additionally, coordinating the promotion of our D&O Relationship and presenting a 'united AIG’ has led to new business wins for the Cyber team, resulting in brokers exclusively approaching AIG to maintain their strong ongoing partnership.
